Amanda Rose and Andrus Ramir Weekend Workshop and Showcase
Khadijah and Zaheerah will be hosting the incredible Amanda Rose and Andrus Ramir on February 21st-22nd, 2015, for a weekend of inspiring workshops and a showcase featuring both of these amazing dancers, along with local talent!!
Saturday February 21st:
10:30am-12:30am
Andrus Ramir teaches:
Rouh (Soul): Soulful contemporary technique while using life experience, emotion, love, heartbreak and words translation for dance. As well as channeling your higher self for inspiration. Choreography, to a dramatic soulful song.

2:00pm-4:00pm
Amanda Rose teaches:
Performance Dynamics: Youʼve got a great costume, a killer choreography, now what? The preparation we put into our performance canʼt stop short there, projection, eye contact, emoting, stage usage, personality, attitude and charisma are all just as important as the technique we drill all day. In this workshop we will explore a series of exercises to help develop all of these different dynamics of a performance. Through a safe and encouraging environment, we will all dive deeper into our own stage personas and take them new found depths of exploration and enrichment.

Simply Regal: Elegance meets strength, simplicity meets power. Incorporating Andrus technique and new dance moves with bellydance. All about those lines and polished presentations through fun and energetic exercises. Followed by Andrus technique and combo

Layers and Levels and Travels, Oh My!: As cabaret dancers we tend to stick with the layers and traveling that are most familiar to us, or what our teachers have most commonly used. In this workshop weʼll work on taking the mind out of the game and putting some of those body parts on auto-pilot as we move across the oor with unique oor patterns and seemingly easy layers...
