Meat & Eat with Jude Becker: A Pork Party
We're hosting back-to-back pork parties on the eve of Halloween in celebration of Farmer Jude Becker coming to town. Come meet the man behind Becker Lane Organic Farm in Dyersville, Iowa (yes, as seen on Oprah).
Once you taste this pork and learn about the philosophy behind it you'll understand why Bill Niman and many Bay Area chefs consider Becker Lane pork to be the absolute best in the country.
During each mingling Chef Morgan Maki will serve Jude's organic pork prepared four ways: cured, smoked, roasted, and braised. That's right - Becker Lane pork four-ways.
Additionally, Carl Sutton, winemaker of Sutton Cellars, will be on hand pouring the following Sutton Cellars wines:Carignane Piffero Vineyard 2006,Syrah Remondo Vineyard 2004, "El Tecalote" Red Sonoma 2004, and Vermouth. Wine is included in the ticket price.
