Note: Ensemble Ballet Theatre is located in Maple Valley, Washington and is a non-profit organization dedicated to the cultural enrichment of its dancers and local communities through the art of dance. Our mission is to educate, promote, foster, and encourage interest in all forms of dance through full scale, professional style ballet productions. EBT was formed in 2003 with only thirteen dancers and has grown to over fifty full-time dancers. The 2009 performances of The Nutcracker will include more than 120 performers on stage.
Under the artistic direction of Miss Kimberly Wooten, EBT explores many types of dance including contemporary, musical theatre, swing, partnering, lyrical, jazz, pointe and classical ballet. With the exception of Miss Kim, the organization is run entirely by parent volunteers and funded by ticket sales, fundraising, sponsorships and donations.
