Come celebrate the 2009 Mayor's Small Business Award winners and the role of small businesses in Seattle at the 25th Annual Mayor's Small Business Awards!

Seattle Mayor Greg Nickels cordially invites you to a  special ceremony and reception to honor recipients of the 2009 Mayor's Small Business Awards for their outstanding
contributions to our community.

Reception starts at 5:30 p.m. Hearty appetizers and dessert will be served. No host bar.
Formal Program runs from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. in the Grand Hall.

Tickets are $20 (online and at the door). If you are planning to buy a ticket at the door, please bring a check or cash.

The 2009 Mayor's Small Business Awards honor the diversity and excellence of Seattle's small businesses, and their contribution to the city's economic vitality and quality of life. The ten winners are selected on the basis of excellence in management, entrepreneurial spirit, customer service, and community involvement.

2009 marks the 25th year of the Mayor's Small Business Awards program. Over the last two decades, the awards program has recognized more than 240 small businesses, many of which have gone on to experience significant growth. Past recipients include such companies as: Starbucks Coffee Company (1984), Uwajimaya (1984), Ezells Fried Chicken (1989), the Dilettante (1990) and City Peoples Mercantile (1993). Last years winners included Arab Film Distribution / Typecast Films; Compendium, Inc.; glassybaby LLC and Macrina Bakery & Cafe.

Notes
Town Hall is conveniently located at Eighth Avenue and Seneca Street in downtown Seattle. The best parking option is the Washington State Convention and Trade Center Main Garage, just 2 blocks north of Town Hall on 8th Ave. This garage is available both daytime ($6 all day) and evenings ($4 after 5pm) with a special voucher you can get from Town Hall. Town Hall is also served by Metro bus lines 2, 12, and 13.
