An Evening with Ted Kooser
You are invited to spend an evening with Ted Kooser, one of America's most beloved living poets. We will be hosted at the home of board member Maureen Lee and Mark Busto, where wine and hors d'oeuvres will be served at 7pm, with a reading and conversation at 7:30pm.
This is a benefit for Copper Canyon Press, a nonprofit publisher of poetry.
The evening will celebrate Kooser's newest collection, "Splitting an Order," the highly anticipated follow-up to his Pulitzer Prize winning collection "Delights and Shadows." Publishers Weekly lauded the new book as "a journey of intimacies . . . that brims over with small profundities and discoveries." Kooser is a former United States Poet Laureate and a powerful advocate for poetry. This is a rare appearance in an intimate setting.
Tickets are $100 per guest. Space is highly limited; please purchase your tickets today. If you prefer to purchase your ticket by check, please email elaina@coppercanyonpress.org to reserve your spot and send a check to: Copper Canyon Press / P.O. Box 271 / Port Townsend, WA / 98368.
Thank you for your generous support of Copper Canyon Press.
