Masquerade Halloween Dance
Boone, NC. High Country Pride presents MASQUERADE Halloween dance for ages 21 and up on Saturday Oct. 31st from 9pm-1am at the Broyhill Inn of Boone, NC. Admission is $10 and supports two local non-profits. Enjoy music from all eras, special lighting, and a cash bar. Dinner buffet is on site for an additional fee. Costumes are strongly encouraged. Do you enjoy dressing up for Halloween? Do you like to dance? The planners of the Halloween dance at the Broyhill Inn are hoping you answer 'yes.' High Country Pride's "Masquerade" dance party offers an exciting night of costumes on parade, mysterious identities, and dancing. Come enjoy upbeat hit music from all eras, club-style lighting, and a cash bar at this fun new dance event. Described as 'the High Country's premier Halloween event,' Masquerade brings back the mystery and fun of Halloween for ages 21 and up. Come early and enjoy a special dinner buffet in the Broyhill Inns Jackson Dining Room for an additional fee.
The dance is sponsored by High Country Pride, a local non-profit organization. Admission is $10 and there are a limited number of tickets. Proceeds from the dance support High Country Pride and another non-profit, ALPHA. "We're hoping for an old-fashioned masquerade ball with all types of costumes and disguises," says Gordon Hensley, one of the organizers. "In fact, we're giving away free masks to the first 50 guests. Get your tickets in advance-- this is going to be the most fun you can find on Halloween night!" says Hensley.
High Country Pride is a volunteer-staffed 501(c) 4 non-profit civic league in Boone, NC. High Country Pride was founded in 1994 to foster freedom and equality for all people in Ashe, Avery, Caldwell, Carter, Johnson, Watauga, and Wilkes counties.
