LGBTQ Allyship's 2014 LGBTQ Intergenerational Conference: 'Where are we going, Where have we been?'
On September 28th, 2014, LGBTQ Allyship will host its first Intergenerational Conference 'Where are we going, Where have we been: an exploration of Money, Power, Health and History in the LGBTQ community.' at Seattle University as a culmination of the ongoing LGBTQ Intergenerational Project.

Our hope is to bring together a diverse group of people to discuss topics from dating to the trans-movement, from discrimination to advocacy, from spirituality to mainstream LGBTQ politics, from LGBTQ philanthropy to health issues, building a space for a shared LGBTQ history and experience that crosses the lines of age.

This conference is the beginning of LGBTQ Allyship's Intergenerational organizing project. Attendees will find further opportunities to build and engage in intergenerational community and advocacy at the conference and beyond.

This event is free, but a suggested donation from $5 to $25 will help offset the costs and would be greatly appreciated. No one turned away for lack of donation! (please donate at the door)Please bring your own brown bag lunch!

There will be a free show at 5pm, go to LGBTQAllyship.org for the line-up of queer and trans* artists. Donations are accepted to support the artists.

This conference is wheelchair accessible, open to all ages and we ask that you reframe from wearing fragrances to make it more accessible to scent-sensitive people.
