ARTIST BIOS:
Robin Brown is a flamenco artist and craftsman.  His paintings are inspired by years in Europe  most recently flamenco study in Spain.  "I cherish two pieces which I did in elementary school." said Robin.  "They gave rise to one of the puzzle-pieces that I have in this Flamenco Arts Exhibition Sale 2014.  My designs are inspired by my commitment to traditional arts  now mostly Spanish scenes of flamencos in song, guitar and dance.  Fantasies, my dramas and adaptations for the camera inspire both my arts and crafts  puppets, props, costume items, backdrops."  For this Art Exhibition, he is adapting camera doorway dollies as "A" frames for mobile art exhibitions and recreating a Paris art scene. "The Paris 1890s art scene looks like my life." states Brown. He performed flamenco in two Paris concerts in 2012 for his filmmaker son, Michael Brown who lived in Paris and has worked from California to Russia to Africa.

Cliff Jones is one of America's finest artists.   As a youth Cliff was a soloist for San Francisco Ballet and studied with maestro Guillermo Del Oro.  Cliff then toured with his own dance company and studied art and architecture of South Asia.  He spent a year in Nepal studying its famous brass works and many years in Kerala, India.  He is a world authority and author on Kathakali Dance Theatre.  Cliff taught in New York and in Santa Rosa, California.  His 2014 works celebrate the Cubist style of Tamara De Lempicka (Warsaw then Paris 1920s then Cernavaca).  You see both in Cliff's recreations after her works and in Cliff's own vivid style.  His works in the exhibition include Russia 1945 and Mohinyaatam dancer.
