NYC Honey Week: Honey-Themed Dinner at The Cleveland
What do you get when you combine a James Beard Rising Star Chef, who "kills it with vegetable-focused dishes" (New York Magazine), with one of the most ambitious natural wine and beer programs in town, plus heaps of sweet, sticky honey, and a charming, secret-backyard garden? Welcome to The Cleveland, where Chef Max Sussman has become as well-loved by Soho diners for his meticulous, yet playful, fare as he is popular with local farmers for his seasonal, local-sourcing practices. Sussman, along with owners Paul Shaked and Hudson Solomon, welcome our beekeeper friends from Stone Barns Center for an intimate, convivial honey-themed dinner in celebration of our favorite pollinators. Dine alongside the producers who cultivate this rich region and the purveyors who transform their harvest into delightful and inventive dishes, all while sipping on thoughtful pairings of beer and wine.
