Holt CD Release Party with Carlos Reyes
Chappell and Dave Holt are seasoned Bay Area based singer-
songwriters who move fluidly and expertly between musical genres- jazz, blues, folk and gospel -with piano, guitar and voice to present original and traditional song stylings that reflect "The Jazzy side of Americana."
Celebrating a new CD release Stone & Fire Medicine Wheel on Native American Day,( cover art by the talented Chappell) they will be joined by world renowned harpist and violinist Carlos Reyes. Born in Paraguay, Reyes was a child prodigy who debuted with the Oakland Symphony at age 14. He went on to become a premier recording artist, producer, (Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin) and engineer who created background music for Sesame Street as well as his own TopTen Billboard jazz albums, collaborating with the likes of Chuck Mangione, Bill Evans, Charlie Daniels, Roy Rogers, Willie Nelson, The Rippingtons, The Crusaders, Bonnie Raitt, Steve Miller, MC Hammer, The Doobie Brothers and more!
