Changing the Conversation: Claiming our Voice
A workshop featuring J. Herbert Nelson of the PCUSA Office of Public Witness and Mark Koenig of the Presbyterian Office at the UN will help us think theologically about advocacy and discuss ways we can engage government, corporations, the larger church, congregations and individuals through Presbyterian witness. From their vast experience as our denomination's public voice in national and international affairs, J. Herbert and Mark will help us explore why and how we are called to employ our unique Christian voice to bring about change in the world. 9 am to 3:30pm at the Stony Point Center. $25.00 Registration includes coffee, snacks, & lunch.
