A Dangerous Age
Capitol Hill Arts Center (CHAC) Seattle, WA
Balagan Theatre presents the newest work from the Award-Winning Starving Artist Theatre Company. This the U.S. Premier of A DANGEROUS AGE, by Godfrey Hamilton, performed by Mark Pinkosh, "one of the most exciting theatrical partnerships around"(Evening Standard- London). Part romance, part stand-up, part wry reflection on America today, Pinkosh portrays both Zach, a solider in the U.S. Army, and Jackson, a flighty Hollywood-based actor. ("[Pinkosh's] dexterity as a performer delineates the two lovers so perfectly and with so little artifice, that it is uncanny to realize that this is a one-man show" -The Stage, UK) The two characters develope a Summer romance which is cut short when Zach is shipped off to Iraq. Against a backdrop of rage and passion A DANGEROUS AGE tells an utterly contemporary love story - a story proving there is no such thing as a "one night stand".
