When you are eight years old and live in a neighborhood full of friends and fantastic places, you can have lots of fun and adventures, as well as get into a few tight spots. While playing ball with Cesar and La Guama, Guillo loses the money Rosalia, his mother, gave him for errands. Unbeknownst to Guillo, El Chino, whos watching the game, pockets the money when no one is looking. Now hes in the worst trouble he can imagine, since Rosalia warned him to stay out of trouble or else. She threatens to send Guillo away, to pick coffee beans at his Uncle Libardo's plot, outside Pereira.
