Influenced by her parents love of music The Isley Brothers, Anita Baker, Aretha Franklin, Billie Holiday, Blue Magic, Chaka Kahn, The Beatles, James Taylor - as well as the folk, rock and reggae she came to love as a teen, Barbara Jenice blends all into a uniquely powerful and evocative easy listening groove.
Through a lifetime of writing and performing music, Barbara Jenice also shares an incredible journey of recovery through song. She is continuing to make headway in the music industry under the mentorship of legendary Hall of Fame inductees David Porter (in The Consortium: MMT) and Carla Thomas.
A sophisticated lounge with plush banquet couches, antique chairs, and a comfortable loft that overlooks the stage, The Dizzy Bird is an exclusive lounge, seating 40 patrons. While we have a small menu, we encourage guest, if they'd like an adult beverage, please bring your own. We have a small corkage fee.
Silence is golden with fine music and the low number of people in the room guarantees maximum enjoyment.
