The Next Step. This Level 1A Class is for students who have completed the Level 1 Lifetime Class. These weekly workshops take the study of improv to the next level with standard improv exercises and exciting new games, and is intended to build on the lessons from the Introduction to Improv Class. Drop ins are encouraged and discounts are available with extended registration.

Instructors: Marc Pruter and George Malich

MARK PRUTER is the producer and creative director of The Improv Trick. He is the founder of the Big Stinkin' Improv and Sketch Comedy Festival, Bad Dog Comedy Theater, Monk's Night Out, and Squeaky Clean Comedy. He has experience teaching, coaching, and producing on a national level.

GEORGE MALICH George Malich is one of the of the stars of A. (Anonymous), an improvised film which was awarded Best Screenplay in the St. Louis International Film Festival. He also starred in the feature film The Bunglers. He has performed at the Improv Trick, The New Orleans Improv Festival, Playback Workshop Theater,and many other high-profile improv performances. George has studied with Keith Johnstone, Jill Bernard, Bill Chott, and Jackie Masei. He has taught for The Improv Trick and Prison Performing Arts.
