Vermont Music Fest Pre-Party

I cannot remember a summer when I have not been involved in organizing some sort of VT shindig. So lo and behold, in lieu of the beloved Tweed weekend, I am collaborating with the good folks at Vermont Music Fest by hosting an opening party for the 5th anniversary of their wonderful event.

DETAILS
* Drive in and camp all weekend right next to your car at Kenyon's Field in Waitsfield, VT (RVs are welcomed)
* Excellent music from 3-11 PM on Friday, Aug 22 on a professional sound stage. (stay tuned for the lineup, but you can expect me and some friends to be rocking for sure)
* A campfire pickathon to take you into the wee hours
* Great food vendors on site, but feel free to bring your own coolers, food and beverage
* One of the most beautiful swimming holes in the state
* A shuttle to take you to and from the VT Music Fest (11 AM - 11 PM on Saturday, Aug 23) only 4 miles away - admission is by donation. Check out vtmusicfest.com for more information.

* $25 for non-campers (Friday only) so we can cover the cost of this sure to be great old school, VT-style throwdown!

RULES
* Pack in Pack out - Take out what you bring in (no trash left behind)
* Have more fun than humanly possible. Bring your instruments and join in the campfire pickathon after hours, in the morning, or whenever your fingers are feeling it.
* No glass please and did we mention: Pack in Pack out.
* Meet great new friends and spread the word to the ones you got.
