'Man of La Mancha' is the story of Miguel de Cervantes, who, captured by the Spanish inquisition, fights for his life by entertaining his fellow prisoners. He does so with the inspiring story of Don Quixote de la Mancha, who tilts at windmills and fights for the right without question or pause. The Rubicon production will focus on the play-within-the-play structure of this musical. This production, presented during the 400th anniversary year of the publishing of Don Quixote.

The Rubicon Theater is in a converted church on the corner of East Main Street and Laurel in the historic downtown district of Ventura. Seating is assigned based on availability. Patron restrooms are on the basement level only acccessible via staircase only. Concessions, including wine, are served before the show and at intermission.
