New and returning artists are delving deeper than ever before to explore gender, queerness and sexuality with all the sass, seriousness, and sophistication audiences have come to expect. With puppets and passing, antique lard pails and hula hoops, white gloves and insulin pumps, this all new Femme Show aims to give audiences new ways and new reasons to think about gender, femininity, and desire.

The Femme Show plays October 2 and 3 at 8:00 PM at The Cambridge Family YMCA Theatre, located at 820 Massachusetts Avenue in Cambridge, MA. Advance tickets are available for $10 through www.thefemmeshow.com starting September 1, and tickets will be available at the door for $12. Saturday's show will be ASL interpreted.
