| Description |
 The world premiere of Runaway Moon --- a simple tale comes to life with a taiko twist based on the story poignantly illustrated in sumie ink painting by artist Minette Mangahas. Haunting melodies, mesmerizing visuals, lyrical movement and the strong, dramatic beat of taiko drums come together in this exciting cross-disciplinary performance featuring the versatile talents of violinist, cellist and movement artist Jeannie Mckenzie. SYTEs inventive explorations at the intersection of music, theater, dance and taiko brings us face to face with our own fears and hopes in post-911 America .
