Description
Seattle Chefs Collaborative Presents 'Urban Picnic'-- A fundraiser for the Quillisascut Farm School Scholarship

Enjoy a Sunday afternoon of fun and food on the rooftop deck at Rainier Square and help send local rising culinary stars to the Quillisascut Farm school in Rice, WA. Top Seattle chefs will prepare a 'Picnic to Remember' of culturally important Northwest foods from the Renewing Americas Food Traditions (RAFT) list of endangered foods.  Eat it to save it!

Participating chefs and restaurants include: John Sundstrom of Lark, Ryan Tateishi of Canlis, Seth Caswell of emmer& rye, Dustin Ronspies of Art of the Table, Ba Culbert of Tilikum Place Cafe, Zephyr Paquette of Elliott Bay Cafe, Craig Hetherington and Lucy Damkoehler of TASTE Restaurant, Dan Braun of Oliver's Twist, Karen Jurgensen of Quillisascut Farm, Riley Starks of Willows Inn, Gelato from Holly Smith's Poco Carrettto and special guest chef, Robin Leventhal, contestant on Season 6 of Top Chef.  There will also be live music and entertainment for the kids.  Children under 10 are free.

Urban Picnic is presented in partnership with Slow Food Seattle, Seattle CityClub and Caffe Vita.
