The Gathering
Tomahawk presents The Gathering. The Gathering features some NYC's newest and best improv, sketch, and alternative comedy acts.
Tomahawk is a resident house team at The Peoples Improv Theater (The PIT). Each week they perform as part of The PIT's premier night of improv comedy, Super Free Wednesday. Each week they share the stage with some of new york's best improvisers. Formed out of house team auditions at The PIT at the beginning of 2009, Tomahawk features performers who all graduated from The PIT's year long improv program. Individually, members of Tomahawk have worked with Blue Man Group, The Ontological Theater Company, The Wall Street Journal, Upright Citizens Brigade, The Magnet Theater and Carolines on Broadway, to name but a few.
The Gathering is a monthly show where Tomahawk and their friends stretch their comedy skills with special improv and performance challenges. Each month will feature a different theme and a different set of guest performers.
