Virtuosos: From Jefferson & Corelli to Einstein & Heifetz
On August 21st, 7:30 PM, MSCM presents Virtuosos: From Jefferson & Corelli to Einstein & Heifetz, a narrative concert about the violin and the players and composers it inspired. This concert will feature virtuosic solos including the Ysaÿe "Ballade" and Heifetz's arrangements of music from Gershwin's "Porgy and Bess", as well as chamber music by Brahms and Borodin. This performance will be held at the Jefferson Memorial Center, Coolidge Point, Manchester.
Featuring performers: Sage Cole, Eliot Heaton, Ko Sugiyama, Lorna Tsai, violin; Jenn Chang and Rose Hashimoto, viola; Sara Sitzer and Jacques Lee Wood, cello
