A Conversation about Authenticity with Elisa Donovan and Rosie's Daughters
Rosie's Daughters meets on a monthly basis for conversations with inspiring Bay Area women.

Join us on August 6th, for our 8th conversation of 2014 with actress Elisa Donovan.  You'll also have a chance to get to know a great group of professionals, entrepreneurs, artists, mothers, sisters, daughters, wives, friends - we're leaders in our communities who are committed to supporting one another through sharing our stories.

This month's conversation is focused on the theme of Authenticity, and we'll be hearing from actress Elisa Donovan.

Elisa played the role of feisty fashion-victim Amber in the pop culture Paramount Pictures feature-film Clueless. She went on to reprise her role for three seasons in the follow-up television series. Next, she performed on three seasons of the ABC/WB TV-series Sabrina The Teenage Witch. She has had recurring roles on Beverly Hills 90210, Judging Amy, and Jack & Jill. Among many film roles, she was notably featured alongside Will Ferrell in another comedy classic feature film, A Night at The Roxbury.  In 2013, Elisa was voted "Reader/Fan Favorite" by People magazine for her celebrity Mommy blog (http://celebritybabies.people.com/category/elisa-donovan-blog/). Elisa was also hand-picked by Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg to be the voice for the audiobook of her #1 bestseller Lean In and Lean In for Graduates. The audiobook was #1 on the charts for many months and submitted by the publisher for a Grammy nomination.

In addition to her acting career, Elisa also assists in counseling and supporting women struggling with eating disorders, and is a proponent of spreading awareness and recovery. She has had pieces published in the Chicken Soup for the Soul series as well as having her anorexia recovery story featured in the book Feeding the Fame and documented for TEEN People. Elisa has spoken about recovery on many television shows, including 20/20, Entertainment Tonight, Access Hollywood, and Dr. Drew's Headline News.

Join us for a conversation with Elisa about Authenticity.
