BROADWAY MATINEE MELODIES
Salvador Padilla, Baritone, will perform Broadway Matinee Melodies on Sunday, August 3, 2014 at 3:30 p.m. at the San Diego Woman's Club.
Salvador Padilla, a member of the San Francisco Opera's Merola Program in 1998 and Western Opera Theater National Tour as Germont in La Traviata. Salvador Padilla made his first appearances with Ambassadors of Opera in Russia during their 1998 World Tour and 2000 World Tour. Padilla won first place in the Ellen Faull Gordon Vocal Competition in Portland, Oregon. Also first place in the MET auditions in San Diego, and one of the National Winners in the Bel Canto Foundation of Chicago and first on Ezio Pinza Competition. Padilla studied in Madrid and has performed all over the world.
We are most fortunate that he calls San Diego home and look forward to a delightful afternoon of familiar Broadway melodies delivered in his rich baritone voice.
