RISE: Social Work in an Era of Change

RISE is an all-day conference serving to empower social work students, professionals and social justice activists to become effective agents of change. RISE will provide a foundation to reclaim the social work profession's focus on social justice and build interdisciplinary alliances to tackle institutional social problems.
The first annual RISE Conference will be happening 9am-5pm, Friday September 18, 2009 at New York University's Kimmel Center. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
Note: RISE is a totally volunteer effort and all ticket revenue goes directly into the cost of the conference.
If you require the Low-Fee rate, please email register@riseconference.org. If you would like to donate extra money to help cover the cost of a low-income attendee, please chose the Sponsor rate.
