TSL presents a BIG BARN DANCE featuring MOONSHINE HOLLER

TSL presents a special BIG BARN DANCE with live music by MOONSHINE HOLLER, the multi-talented musical duo of Paula Bradley and Bill Dillof. The dances will be taught and called by Peter Stix. This is an event to raise funds for a new sidewalk at TSL. No dance expertise necessary. Come and learn and dance! The dances will be accessible and easy to learn: just walking - no fancy footwork needed! Complete novices will be able to enjoy the whole event. Dances will include New England-style contras, circle mixers and squares. No dance experience needed, no partner needed. Come and enjoy some down home fun!

Casual attire and flat soled shoes (or sneakers) are recommended.

Peter Stix is an Albany based caller and teacher of New England contra dances. MOONSHINE HOLLER, the husband and wife duet of Paula Bradley and Bill Dillof, perform rollicking traditional American music and dance featuring spirited renditions of Appalachian blues, breakdowns and ballads with flatfoot dancing to boot. They capture the essence of American roots music on more instruments than they can juggle, including fiddle, banjo, Hawaiian guitar, harmonica and ukulele.

This very special event is being held to raise funds for the repaving of the TSL sidewalk.
Remember - no dance experience necessary! If you can walk, you can dance!
