Theres something rugged about David. Its in his eyes, its in his soul. Though only twenty-two, he has experienced a lifetime of love and loss, of good times and heartbreak. Hes been quietly touring the country for over a year, steadily following the road that the original troubadours took. Some call his music folk or blues, others say its alt. country, but it deserves its own label: old-fashioned whiskey and cigarettes rock and roll.
David Mead is a Nashville-based singer/songwriter whose infectious melodies, distinctive vocal style and strong songwriting skills have helped build a dedicated fanbase, even after a variety of major-label mishaps.
2008 sees the release of Davids fifth full length album ALMOST AND ALWAYS. His most intimate work to date, the album examines life after marriage and the promise of things to come.
