On August 1st and 2nd 2014, Oxford, Mississippi will open its doors, theaters, and other less traditional spaces to host its first ever Fringe Festivalthe Art-er Limits. This two day celebration features art, music, performances and food all connected to Mississippi, and it's designed to be a festival that entices attendees to discover and participate as they stroll around downtown Oxford.
"This festival will be like nothing North Mississippi has seen," says Wayne Andrews Director of the Yoknapatawpha Arts Council. "This is not for passive art. These are performances, interactive events and limited seating tastings."
This festival will feature over a dozen performance venues, dozens of performers, a visual arts market and demonstrations.
We'd also like to thank our awesome sponsors for helping us to make this event a reality!
