Redemption 101 Celebrity Hosted Red Carpet Premiere and Fundraiser
Crimson Hill Entertainment, LLC presents the unveiling of Redemption 101, a short film on the perils of drug addiction and the journey to recovery.
A film shot in Washington DC and Northern, Virginia in the Fall of 2013, revolves around the story of Thalia, a young woman at a crossroads, who started abusing drugs at the age of 13 and began prostituting herself to support her habit. Thalia now has a young infant and has to choose between her addiction and her daughter before CPS takes her child away for good. Thalia meets several women at the sober house who impact her life and decision.
The cast, crew and production team invite you for an epic celebration to unveil the film and raise funds to aid persons in recovery.
Hosting the event are ALIMI BALLARD of CSI Vegas, Fast Five, and Numb3rs, NAACP Image Award Winner, CHARLES MALIK WHITFIELD of The Temptations, Biracial Cherrios Commercial, Behind Enemy Lines, and the Guardian, and JOE DONOFRIO of Bronx Tales, Are We There Yet, and We Own The Night.
The media will be on hand to cover the event and interview the actors and celebs. Also joining the cast will be Richard Brooks of Being Mary Jane and Law and Order.
Casting Directors, Talent Managers and Acting Coaches from NY, DC and ATL will be on hand for headshot drops.
Music will be provided by celebrity DJ, JRL Sounds of NYC and Celebrity Photographer Jamal Sharif Harrington will offer red carpet photos.
VIP tickets include a VIP reception with the celebrities and preferred seating.
There is TWO DRINK MINIMUM and the restaurant will offer a full menu at additional cost.
All ticket purchases are 100% tax deductible as we are a 501(c)3. All funds raised will donated to TROSA, Inc and Rebound Recovery Center.
