Beautiful Feet with Good News
This is an evening event for the purpose of sharing Daniel Prewitt's vision for volunteer work in SE Asia and to raise funds for this 9 month long commitment. 100% of funds raised will be used for this purpose.
Our time together will start with a "meet & greet" reception around a dessert buffet featuring homemade treats, a chocolate fountain with seasonal fruits and beverages. The dance concert will include the artistic ministries of Daniel Prewitt, Christine Prewitt Christensen, Ben Christensen and Dawn Day. Daniel will share more specifics about his future volunteer work and present a video of this opportunity.
Daniel Prewitt is a professional ballet dancer who studied with Turning Pointe School Of Dance in Holland, MI for 8 years. He then trained and danced with Ballet Magnificat in Jackson, MS for 3 years. He has taught and performed in Honduras as well as throughout the USA. He has been a guest artist for ballet programs in Lexington, KY and St Augustine, FL.
Christine Christensen is Daniel's sister. She studied mime under the direction of Dawn Day with Silent Light in Grand Rapids, MI for 6 years and then trained and performed with PUSH Physical Theatre under the direction of Darren & Heather Stevenson in Rochester, NY for 3 years.
Ben Christensen is Daniel's brother-in-law. He is an award winning clown and juggler with a Childrens Ministry degree from North Central University. Ben met Christine while training and performing with PUSH Physical Theatre. Since being married in 2012 Ben & Christine have ministered, performed, taught and competed throughout the USA and overseas.
Dawn Day is a professional mime who studied with Mimestry International. She was the Director and performer of the Silent Light mime team, and was also a member of a Street Theatre preforming group. Dawn was a part of Master Arts production of The Fiddler on the Roof in 1992. She has also played several roles in Master Arts production of The Great Divorce in the years 1991, 2013, and 2014.
