"The cast is led by Casey Groves in the title role. Groves has both the chops and the sheer stage presence to bring the coach's personality to life. He effectively elicits both Lombardi's passion for the sport, as well as his gift of leadership an ability blending inspiration with the blunt bark of a Patton. It is an appealing performance."
