DIRTY PLAYGROUND: 2nd Annual 2 night Summer Camp! August 30th to September 1st
DIRTY PLAYGROUND is happy to present our second annual SUMMER CAMP!
That's right. We're going into the woods AGAIN but this time for TWO NIGHTS!
August 30th to September 1st in Sandy, Oregon at Twisted Cedar Estates.
Join us for three days and two nights of play! Queer woodland fun!
**ALL TICKETS MUST BE PURCHASED IN ADVANCE, NO ON SITE TICKETS WILL BE SOLD**
Tickets will be sold until 8/15 or when we sell out -- whatever comes first!

COST:
ALL tickets are for two nights -- there is not a one night option available.
$70 - The Naturalist OPTION (no meals provided; tent or informal inside sleeping)
$120 - The Glamping OPTION (5 full meals; tent or informal inside sleeping)
*SOLD OUT* $230 - Workin' it OPTION (plus $50 per person for 5 full meals (optional); private room with priority given to those needing private rooms for accessibility reasons)
We will be prioritizing private rooms for those with accessibility needs on a first come-first serve basis determined by the date on the email sent to us. The deadline is 7/15 at 5pm at which time we will close registration for the private rooms and email you if you get a room and a link on where to purchase the tickets. If you don't get a private room, you may chose to have a tent space. If you do not plan to attend the event if you do not get the private room please note this in your initial email so that we can plan accordingly. ** Meals include Saturday Dinner, Sunday Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner and Monday Breakfast. Gluten free, vegan and vegetarian options available. If you do not opt in for food please be aware that no fridge, kitchen, stove, or microwave access will be available.

ACCESSIBILITY INFORMATION:
This information is from LAST YEAR. Some information may be out of date or not relevant to camp this year but we wanted to give you as much information as we could. We will be editing this and providing more information as we get it. Thank you for your patience.
Summary:
This space is not wheelchair accessible.
Event is ASL interpreted.
House is three levels. The lowest (basement) level is the dungeon. The first level is the main floor where food will be served -- this is accessible by approximately 15 stairs from the dungeon OR a gravel driveway to the main door. The third level is up approximately 15 stairs and carpeted sleep space is available. Inside informal sleep space is at the top of the house -- approximately 20 steps from the lower level to the main level and another 15 from the main level to the top level where sleep space is available.
All staircases have rails on at least one side and are carpeted.
Dungeon bathroom has large walk in group shower, not private.
Outside ground around campsites is uneven gravel, dirt and grass.
Twisted Cedar has a dog on site -- no other animals allowed.
Please do not wear or bring perfumes, scents, or burn sage/incense.
Detailed Information provided by Twisted Cedar Estate:
While every effort will be made to assist all who come to visit Twisted Cedar Estate to have a great experience, this was constructed as a private residence and is not ADA compliant. However the following summarizes the physical aspects of the facilities.
The front entry to the main floor is flush to the front deck and is 39" wide. The walk approaching the front entry has a 12% grade but there are no steps. Inside the main level is where the great room, two guest rooms, Master Suite (edited to add: this room is NOT for rent), kitchen and dining rooms and access to the deck where the hot tub is. The hot tub is elevated with three steps to enter. Patio doors from the main areas are 27" wide with small lips (less than 1 inch). The Master patio door is 36" wide and flush to the deck. The Master bathroom is 39" wide access to the commode. There are no grab handles in any of the bathrooms or showers.
The dungeon is in the lower level which is accessed from the main level by 15 steps with a railing. It is also accessible at ground level (daylight basement) by one patio door that is 27" wide and one door that is 34" wide. Both have 3.5 inch lips. The party shower off the dungeon has a 29" opening and a 3.5" lip. There is a bench in the shower for sitting on while showering.
Cleaning products at Twisted Cedar Estate
Cleaning is done with sanitation in mind, we use bleach based, non scented products for cleaning bathrooms, non-scented HE laundry detergent for towels and sheets, and four way antiseptic for cleaning play equipment in the dungeon. We use Planet dishwashing soap.
The hot tub is kept sanitized using a combination of ozone and Bromine.
Outdoor seating
We have approximately a dozen chairs for outdoor seating, and an outdoor portable fire pit will be placed in the upper garden for a cigar social area happening Saturday night.
No curfew on the hot tub as long as people keep their voices down after about 2 am
