2014 Loma Prietan "Guardian of Nature" Benefit
You are invited to our inaugural "Guardians of Nature" Benefit for the Sierra Club Loma Prieta Chapter as we celebrate the remarkable 50th anniversary of the Wilderness Act. Be inspired by Doug Scott, Wilderness Act historian and former Sierra Club Conservation Director, as he presents the captivating story of extraordinary people who fought to establish this bedrock of conservation that now protects 110 million acres of America's pristine wildlands. Sam Liccardo, San Jose City Councilmember, will lead us through this celebratory afternoon. Raise a glass, enjoy delicious food and live music, and peruse our intriguing silent auction.
