Gallery Suite Jazz Series Summer Party featuring Zap Toro
Welcome to Season II of the Gallery Suite Jazz Series! It's time to PARTY!!!
Experience a unique, intimate music showcase in a hip, urban, raw studio space hosted by International recording artist and saxophonist Phil Denny. You and your guest(s) can expect the finest level of artistry from musical talents from around the state, bordering states and Canada with an emphasis on diversion though pure musical entertainment. With a limited seating capacity, those present will feel as though the music is being performed just for them. Open wood ceilings, hardwood floors and exposed brick walls create the ideal backdrop for a night of lively entertainment.
To help us celebrate the mid-way point of the series, we decided to throw a party, BBQ and feature Detroit's most recognized world jazz, fusion and groove band, Zap Toro. Zap Toro is a collective of some of Detroit's finest and most respected musicians that magically find a way to fuse each other's unique influences together to create beautiful music. The Summer Party will begin at 6:00pm with an optional BBQ (cash only) prepared by our friends at The Knight Cap on the back patio. Menu will be announced closer to the date of the event. Doors will be open at this time as well and guests are welcome and encouraged to visit the gallery to view the artwork and experience the atmosphere of La Fille Gallery prior to the show.
The music showcase will begin promptly at 8:00pm. Estimated showtime is 90-100 minutes. An artist CD signing will immediately follow the performance and if you want to continue the night, join us for a proper hang at The Exchange (balcony level) just doors down from the gallery.

BEER & WINE AVAILABLE! Choice red & white selections ($6) from Burgdorf's Winery of Haslett, featured beer ($3) provided by Dan Henry Distributing. *CASH ONLY for drink tickets!
Entry to the gallery suite is located in the back of the gallery (south) just off Museum Drive. THE GSJS IS AN OPEN SEATING FORMAT. Parties of four however, will be assigned a table. If your group is larger than four seats, we will do our best to ensure your tables are near to each other. Group table placement is based on the order transaction date.
Artist(s) merchandise will be available for purchase following the show. Cash preferred, credit cards accepted.
