There is no dress code for the audition class, however, dancers should dress as they would for any ballet class. Solid leotard, tights, hair off of the face, etc. Men should be in tights and a T-shirt. No baggy or loose clothes, including skirts. Female dancers should bring their pointe shoes.
ABOUT OUR YEAR-ROUND TRAINING PROGRAM The French Academie of Ballet's year-round training program is an exclusive program based on the French School of classical ballet. Our program is one that stresses precision in technique and elegance in artistry. Our detailed based classical ballet curriculum emphasizes individual attention. Class sizes are limited in order to insure that every dancer is given the necessary personal instruction along with support and encouragement to enable them to fulfill their potential as a dancer. NEW FOR 2014 - FLEXIBLE SCHEDULING The French Academie of Ballet recognizes that due to outside conflicts serious dancers wishing to study with us are unable to commit to the full schedule of classes. While we encourage our dancers to attend FAB on a full-time basis we do allow our Intermediate dancers to take advantage of our flexible scheduling option.
