ACADEMY is an empowering, fast-paced, in-depth, Spiritual Fitness Lecture / Art Show presented by the Barefoot Artist; Shawn Hollahan. Industrial Designer, Artist, Film Maker, Shamen, he brings the accumulated wisdom of thousands of years and presents men and women an 'alternative' way of seeing themselves and their role as 'EXPERIENCE MACHINES'.

Quantum Physics, Universal Metaphysical Laws, Existensial Philosophy, Energetic Medicine, Mind-Body Medicine, Meditation/Visualization, Tantric Yoga, Martial Arts, Taoist 'multi-orgasmic' SEXUAL Qi Gong, Jungian psychology, Warrior Code Discipline, and Campbellian Hero Archetypes are integrated into a new way of seeing ourselves as 'free expressions' of the prime creator experiencing itself. We are each the Hero we are looking for. People aspiring to 'evolve' are presented with intuitive, sensual, playful and athletic methods to assist them on their Journey to SUPERHEROIC POTENTIAL while reminding them that the person they dream of being is the person they 'really' are.

The Hero begins as a small fry who by some circumstance, choice or fate, is forced beyond his normal realm of experience and into the unknown. There he must face challenges that test his manhood and lead to an initiation which kills his inferior ego self and ignites his spiritual connection his Higher Self. INITIATION; the child becomes a man, the prize he returns to his culture is TRUTH, his reward, LOVE.

You have been born into the greatest action, sci-fi, adventure, romantic comedy, drama that you could ever hope to live in. The greatest crimes, the greatest technology, the greatest level of knowledge & awareness, the largest number of characters, the greatest need for heros ever known. But we have been trained to fear. Fear of expressing our inner emotions and personal truths for fear of ridicule. Who are we when we are free to be our 'True Self'? What role would it choose to live if it were consciously in control of its fate? What kind of POWERS would it embody if it were running on a full battery of life-force?

Academy is timely, its purpose is to entertain, educate and activate the viewer to choose a higher path and take control of their lives back from external authorities and circumstances. The recession facing the planet will be a time of reflection and of rapid, uncomfortable transformation. The old patterns of business and social structure no longer work. People are already feeling lost, confused, angry, frustrated and depressed. NOW is the time to re-design!
