Cooks & Books at Serafina with Giuliano Hazan, author of 'Thirty Minute Pasta'
Spend Sunday supper on September 20th at Serafina with chef/teacher Giuliano Hazan, in celebration of his new book on pasta! Hazan published his first book in 1993-- The Classic Pasta Cookbook--and it is still an international bestseller, translated into 12 languages and with more than 500,000 copies in print. He then introduced 'Every Night Italian', which won "the best Italian Cookbook in the English Language" World Cookbook award. His next book, 'How to Cook Italian', taught home cooks the techniques of authentic Italian cuisine. Hazan is the son of famed cooking teacher Marcella Hazan, and today runs his own cooking school outside of Verona, Italy. Understanding that many people have a short time to put dinner on the table, Hazan has now written 'Thirty Minute Pasta: 100 Quick and Easy Recipes' so everyone can put an authentic, delicious and healthy Italian meal on the table every night.
Serafina owner Susan Kauffman and executive chef Dylan Giordan will create their own version of Hazan's classic pasta dishes for our evening with Giuliano. $115 for all courses, wines, and a signed copy of 'Thirty Minute Pasta'; sales tax and 18% gratuity bring the total price to $150 per person.
