Ribfest is a three day event at the Arcadia Creek Festival Place in Downtown Kalamazoo. As one of the original festivals held downtown, Ribfest has been taking place for over 20 years and generates an average attendance of 30,000 people during the three day festival.
The event features national and local rib vendors that sell ribs and chicken in outstanding barbeque sauces. To compliment the rib vendors, additional food vendors will be offering side items and sweet treats to top off the food experience at Ribfest. The event will also bring in national rock and country musical artists, local bands, plenty of fun activities including children's crafts/games, People's Choice Rib Competition, and the exciting contest for Best Ribs in Kalamazoo.
Not only will you find some of the best ribs in the world at Ribfest,but you'll also get to enjoy music from 14 bands ranging from local artists to nationally touring legends!

Special guests include Hairmania, The Bronk Brothers, Honesty and the Liars, Vintage Blue, Beyond Sight, Wicked Jones, Erika Scherry, Whiskey Trip, and the Kalamazoo Academy of Rock.
Ribfest hours:
Thursday 11 am - 12:30 am
Friday 11 am - 1:30 am
Saturday 11 am - 1:30 am
Entry into Ribfest:
Free every day before 4 pm
$10 every day after 4 pm
Children 12 and under (with an adult) are always free of charge
VIP Tickets ($35):
Access to VIP entry gate with no waiting
Access to the VIP tent which includes premier seating close to the stage, access to VIP beer line, and private porta-johns
Restrictions:
-After 7 pm, anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult
-Must be 21 years of age and provide valid picture ID for the purchase of alcoholic beverages
-Shoes and shirt must be worn on site
-Pets are prohibited
-No coolers or beverages can be brought into the festival site
-Smoking in designated areas only to comply with the Michigan No Smoking Ban
-No re-entry after 4 pm
-No refunds or exchanges
PLEASE NOTE: Since August 7 is the first day of Ribfest, it automatically defaults to making that date appear, but the tickets are good for the day of the festival that you select below. *No Refunds or Exchanges*
