Lake Union Civic Orchestra: Season Finale - Elgar and Shostakovich
The Lake Union Civic Orchestra and conductor Christophe Chagnard close their season with Elgar's riveting Cello Concerto featuring soloist Julian Schwarz. As part of Seattle Celebrates Bernstein we will bring you On the Town: Three Dance Episodes. Shostakovich Symphony No. 9, described as "majestic in scale, in pathos, in its breathtaking motion", concludes the evening.
