Register now for the 10th Annual Healthy Foods, Local Farms Conference, "Growing Community Through Food", speakers include writer and farmer Wendell Berry, student activist Sam Levin, Slow Foods Josh Viertel, writer/activist Nicolette Hahn Niman and more.

Online registration ends November 4, 2009 for the Harvest Celebration and HFLF Conference.
"SOLD OUT" -Friday, Nov. 6, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. University of Louisville, Belknap Campus. "School Gardens and Food in Our Schools", special guests Slow Foods Josh Vietril and youth activists Sam Levin. Especially for school teachers, administrators, dieticians, and students. Lunch provided. Hands on work in garden on site. No charge, but must register in advance.
Friday night, November 6, 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. "Harvest Celebration" with local farmers and chefs teamed for tastings of seasonal, sustainably grown Kentucky food. Seelbach Hotel, Grand Ballroom. Hosted by Greater Louisville Sierra Club Group and Slow Food Bluegrass. Advance Registration - $35pp or $40pp PAYMENT AT THE DOOR.
"SOLD OUT" Saturday, November 7, "10th annual Healthy Foods, Local Farms Conference", Strickler Hall, University of Louisville, Belknap Campus. Registration and breakfast 8 a.m., conference begins at 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m. $40.00 per person. Must have advance reservation with food preference. All food is local and sustainably grown.
