| Description |
 IndieCade, the International Festival of Independent Games, is an annual landmark event featuring and celebrating video game-making's newest voices and their trailblazing work, alongside the cutting-edge work of the industry's most revered creative forces. Imagine the equivalent of a baby Sundance for games and interactive media....
This year, IndieCade's 2009 juried festival will take place across downtown Culver City (Los Angeles). Along with the hands-on exhibition of the finalist games in multiple gallery locations downtown, there will be outdoor play, a host of salons and artist talks, public and family events, an awards gala, and a complimentary conference.

The Festival Day Pass and 4-Day Pass include access to:
(Open October 1-4)
- Oct 1 gallery preview 6-8pm, Opening party 8pm;
- (Oct 2-4) Hands-On Exhibition in multiple venues;
- Outdoor Gameplay;
- Artist Talks;
- And access to daily Happy Hours, breakfast Salons and Closing Party;
Conference Day Pass includes access to:
(October 2 or 3)
- All activities included in the Festival Pass;
- Workshops, Panels, and Speakers;
- Twice Daily Salons;
- Individual Evening VIP/ Invitation Only Event (i.e. Opening Gala, Award Ceremony, Premieres, Performances)
Full Conference Pass includes access to:
(October 1 -4)
- All activities included in the Festival Pass;
- Workshops, Panels, and Speakers;
- Twice Daily Salons;
- Opening Gala
VIP Conference Pass includes access to:
- All activities included in the Festival Pass;
- Workshops, Panels, and Speakers;
- Twice Daily Salons;
- Preferred access to ticketed events including, Opening Gala, Awards, Premieres, Performances, and Parties.
IndieCade U Pass includes access to:
(October 4 only)
- All activities included in the Festival Pass;
- Special aspiring gamemaker oriented sessions.
- Youth oriented Gameplay, Workshops, and Social Events.
Festival headquarters for ticket pick up, conference registration and information are located at the Culver Hotel and all festival events are located in a few block walking radius.
