Shakespeare for Improvisers with Suzanne Schrag of Um..Gee..Um Improv
Actors' Theatre Santa Cruz, CA
Working with Shakespeare can energize your acting and charge up your boldness batteries like nothing else. Find out how playing the verse makes Shakespeare come alive, and how you can take what you learn about the real thing into your improvisation of this challenging and rewarding genre. Instructor: Suzanne Schrag is a long-time member of UmGeeUm Improv troupe. She has acted with many local theater companies, including Shakespeare Santa Cruz, and has trained with Shakespeare & Company at their winter intensive, which has sometimes been called Shakespeare boot camp. She sometimes dreams in iambic pentameter.
