Beer, brats, baubles, and baroque: it could only be
BACHtoberfest! Join BACH for a traditional Oktoberfest with
Bavarian beer and wine tasting, live oompah music and
German delicacies, all while perusing the select items available at the silent auction. Afterwards, enjoy an effervescent concert of Vivaldi concertos presented by the BACH orchestra and conductor Chester Alwes. Featured will be Julieta Mihai, Concert Master of the Illinois Symphony Orchestra and Professor of Violin at Western University and veteran BACH performer Benjamin Hayek. David Chin and Leah Earleson, talents discovered in BACH's Young Artist Competition will also on perform. This year's event will be held at Urbana Golf & Country Club.
Note: Tickets include meal, drink tickets and concert. BACHtoberfest is open to all ages, but you must be 21 in order to receive beer and wine drink tickets.
