 R & R Event Management is excited to bring you Make Chai Not War, a Hindu-Muslim-Christian Stand-Up Comedy Showcase starring
Rajiv Satyal, Paul Varghese, and Azhar Usman.
The show implicitly promotes multi-religious coexistence among South Asians of varying nationalities including Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi and others.
On August 1st, 2009 we invite you to join us for an evening of laughter and understanding as the extremely funny Make Chai Not War team appeal to young and old South Asians living the American Experience.
A portion of the funds generated at the Make Chai Not War Comedy Showcase will benefit Apna Ghar. Apna Ghar (Our Home) provides culturally-appropriate, multilingual services, including emergency shelter, to survivors of domestic abuse with a primary focus on the South Asian and other immigrant communities. NOTE: No one under 13 years old will be admitted.
