Hang On
As a Montreal summer ends, relationships stretch and bounce off the walls of a tidy fifth floor walk up overlooking the heart of the Plateau, as three students embrace the complications of expatriate life, with bagels.

Ben Calabrese (Luc) is excited to be in his first show with the SF Fringe! He'll next be seen as Toby in Pastorella, directed by Stuart Bousel. Recent Credits: Millicent Scowlworthy (99 Stock Productions); Keeper of My Heart's Odd Secrets (Deborah Slater Dance); Crumble (Lay Me Down Justin Timberlake) (BTaB Theatre Co.)

Gabriel Kenney (Pete) is a SF native and happy to be working on the Fringe Festival. He closed his most recent work in which he acted and fight-choreographed, Boxcar Theatre's Speakeasy, this last June. He's currently choreographing for Theatre Madcap's True West, as well as performing in this fine production.

Susannah Rea-Downing (Pam) is very pleased to be participating in the Fringe Festival for the first time. She was most recently seen as Moira in Pleiades with No Nude Men Productions. Susannah is passionate about new work for the stage, and is excited to be a part of the delightful and talented team for Hang On.

Rem Myers (Producer) is a producer, director, dramaturg, and teacher. He is currently the associate producer and literary manager at the Cutting Ball Theater and is thrilled to be working with the Hang On team. When he is not in the theater, he is teaching math at the Urban School.

May Liang (Stage Manager) is very excited to make her stage manager debut with SF Fringe! She is an aspiring director and writer. Her past credits include Assistant Director with Impact Theatre for Bread and Circuses (Directed by Desdemona Chiang) and Crowded Fire Theater for Brahman/i: A One-Hijra Stand-Up Comedy Show (Directed by Erin Merritt).

Erik Blachford (Playwright & Director) is a Montreal native currently living and working in San Francisco including serving as a board member at Cutting Ball Theater. If you find a decent Montreal-style bagel in the Bay Area, let him know.
