A fantastic triple bill featuring three of the new folk's best and brightest.
Sometymes Why is the Feme Fatale trifecta of Ruth Ungar Merenda (The Mammals), Aoife O'Donovan (Croooked Still) and Kristen Andreassen (Uncle Earl)who together swap instruments,sing other wordly harmonies and stretch the boundaries of acoustic music with their innovative arrangements.
Laura Cortese is astounding with her energy, hard to shake songwriting and emotional fiddle playing.
Jefferson Hamer is an accomplished singer songwriter as well as a sought after sideman. His voice, emotive and textured, is the perfect vehicle to convey his songs that are laced with Appalachian and Celtic influences.
