"Outside In" is a group show of landscape-based paintings, drawings, photographs and sculpture by established and emerging contemporary artists.

"Outside In" pays homage to its exhibition space, Maxon Mills, a former granary. Where grains were once brought from local fields for storage and feed processing, the exhibition brings a focus on the outside world to the granary's interior walls. Moreover, "Outside-In" explores the inherent tension between nature in its pure, undisturbed state, and the constraints or manipulations put upon it by humans. The result often turns typical notions of landscape-based art on its head, effectively rendering it outside-in.

Artist Include: David Allee, Jan Aronson, Jeff Barnett-Winsby, Judith Belzer, Carl Berg, Joellyn Duesberry, John Funt, Bryan Nash Gill, Karen Hesse Flatow, Peter Hoffer, Caitlin Hurd, Celeste Joye, Michael Kovner, Carol MacDonald, Erika O'Brien, Peter Opheim, Bill Sietz, Mike+Doug Starn, Alison Stewart, William Stone, Carol Swiszcz, Kit White, Spencer You
