Edward Albee's "The Zoo Story"
Off-Market Theatres/Stage 250 San Francisco, CA
Edward Albee's first play, "The Zoo Story" is a gripping confrontation between Peter, a well-off, well-intentioned family man leading a life of quiet desperation, and Jerry, a rootless drifter alienated from the human race who has no patience for complacency. Dealing with issues of human isolation and the dangers of complacency in American society, this unique and brilliant play builds with savage intensity to a wrenching climax.
Directed by Andrew Utter, and featuring David Koppel as Peter and Ted Barker as Jerry.
