The Hendrix Septet and the Cartoon Jazz Orchestra
The Hendrix Septet featuring two woodwinds playing piccolo, C flute, alto and bass flutes, sopranino, soprano, alto, tenor and two bass saxophones as well as two trumpets doubling on fleugal horns will be performing a program of all Jimi Hendrix's music on Monday June 22cd at 9:30pm at the Presidio Theater, 2430 Chestnut Street, San Francisco.
Opening for the Hendrix Septet will be San Francisco's premiere big band, Jeff Sanford's 15 piece Jazz Cartoon Orchestra performing a program of all soundtracks from your favorite cartoons including the beloved Raymond Scott scores.
Tickets are $15 at the door and $12 through Brown Bag Tickets or at the Presidio Theater.
