Join us at our 2009 Empower Breakfast Fundraiser as we honor our community and hear about the life-changing experiences of girls who have participated in our outdoor education programs.
We are living in extraordinarily challenging economic times and the non-profit sector has been hit particularly hard. And demand for our services has never been greater. At GirlVentures, we are seeing a marked increase in scholarship requests for our summer program and we are unable to keep up with the demand. Your support of our mission to empower adolescent girls is needed now more than ever!
Join us at our 2009 Empower Breakfast Fundraiser to hear about the life-changing experiences of girls who have participated in our outdoor education programs and from our keynote speaker, Arlene Blum, author and ground-breaking mountaineer who led the first American--and all women's--ascent of Annapurna I and was the first American woman to attempt Mt. Everest.
